This Dixon DAWS10 aluminum hose swivel has 1" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connections and FKM (fluoroelastomer) and buna-n (buna nitrile) seals with nylon cord, and is suitable for supplying gasoline and diesel. The brass hex nut prevents galling in an aluminum nozzle and the swivel connection allows the fuel nozzle to rotate independently of the fuel supply hose. This swivel fitting is suitable for use in fueling trucks, buses, off-road equipment, and for fuel oil delivery.Hose fittings connect, control, change the direction of, and terminate the flow in piping and hose systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and other materials that resist corrosion, pressure, and wear.
